Waterford area
Hi guys, this is my first post from this account. Hadn't used the site in a while and because I have a new email and forgot my password, I thought it was best to start over. Anyway I am mostly a coarse match angler in freshwater but will be doing some more sea fishing over the next month. I was wondering if anyone on here could give me a bit of help with regards to fishing in the Waterford area, especially around the Tramore/Dunmore areas but I would travel reasonable distance if it was worth it. I particularly like rock fishing with bait and sometimes lures but certainly do not mind a bit of beach fishing either (Im not too fussy as long as there is fish to be caught
) Anyway, any info would be appreciated so thanks in advance everyone.

Re: Waterford area
Hey, welcome back to the site. The Waterford Estuary is producing smooth hounds at the moment so Passage East beach could be worth a shot for them anyway. Haven't fished anywhere else in Waterford though

Thanks for the reply! Ill probably give it a go. I think the rocks by the lighthouse at the end of the pier in Dunmore East could produce a hound or a something else, Ill try anyway

Re: Waterford area
I always hear of the flat rocks around Dunmore doing well for pollack and wrasse and the likes. Also heard of some bream caught in that areacaptin Plaice32 wrote:Thanks for the reply! Re: Waterford area
Definitely fish in the Waterford area. Was down in Dungarvan last week with work and fish very close into shore
