Clear plastic worms

#1 Post by eoghanb »

I ordered some twin tail soft plastic worms ,the worms I was sent were clear with glitter in them instead of solid white which I was expecting, the worms look fine ,has anyone had success with clear plastic lures?

I use a fair amount of translucent but not totally transparent worms with glitter in them for pollock,, work fine on the right day .. a lot of fish prey is transparent like elvers and if you have ever seen sandeels swimming in the sea they can appear to be transparent at times.. generally ive found when the darker worms/lures aren't working switch to the lighter colour ...

They'll do the finest on their day.
