Cushenun beach

#1 Post by hairyconger »

Fished the above mark tonight with sucess with codling, dogs and loads of coalies. Baits used mack, squid, sandeel. Weather was cold, wet very windy and the biggest surf i ever seen at this mark. Think the quiet spell is starting to leave us.

sounds good, especially with no rag or lug, as well as getting dogs in a big surf

normally, but because of the steepness of cushendun beach the surf sometimes doesnt affect them feeding closer in, on some other marks that are shallower i believe that they kind of get trapped when the surf picks up.
