Belvue Port - Waterford

Just wondering does anyone fish around the port in Waterford?? I was there on Sunday night and a security guard passed by but he didn't say anything. On Monday night I was back there but a security guard asked us to leave(not sure if it was the same security guard as Sunday night). Have other people been asked to leave?? Is there any part of the river around Belvue port that I can fish without being asked to leave? I travel from Wexford so the opposite side of the river is out of my way. Cheers.

I've not fished belview but did hear of other anglers who have gone over that way. Perhaps a visit to the tackle shop in Waterford will shed some more light on the subject. They always seem to be good for info over there.

from what i've heard it just depends on the night, sometimes you get asked to move sometimes not. i think the security gaurds rang the lads in the tackle shops to tell them to stop recommending the spot, there was that many people turning up
