Myself and a mate seen a break in the weather so we tryed out a local venue
Surf was nice considering the day before it was mental
We used macks. Sandeels aswell as lug .
Before fishing i bumped into a mate @ the garage where he had just picked up some fresh bait for his lobster pots.
Among all the fish was some of the killybegs landed mackerel. They were biggies. Took 5 as the white part of the belly was still attached
Anyway fishing was slow most the day but we still managed to pull a few flounder. Small turbot and seatrout
All fish released and hopefully we can meet them again in a bigger state later in the year
It was enjoyable to be out
Brian
