Wexford

#1 Post by Thompst111 »

So heading fishing at the weekend. Was thinking of heading to ballyvalden but then seen two other beaches further south that peaked my interest.ballynaclash and ballinesker. Never tried either ballinesker I like that the carpark you could literally fish from the carpark. So just wondering if anyone has any info on how they fish or of they have fished well recently. Thanks everyone

Hi I fished Ballinoulart beach 23rd Dec, I think its not far from Ballyvaldon but unfortunetly all i had was one tiny whiting, lovely looking spot, fished into darkness on a rising tide with crab. But thats fishing for you.

Fish there a lot during summer time was hoping a bit further south might improve chance if cod. When you say beaches to the north. Like old bawn and cahore point. Or further again into Wicklow

I fished Dodd's Rock a couple of weeks ago and found it unusually poor. Haven't had a good session this winter at all.
