anyone got any info on this venue ill be up there over the mayday weekend so anything on rigs baits etc would be gratefully appreciated

You mean the place near Gortahork? I've been having long looks at there over the past year or so, and chatting to some locals. Deffo smells fishy to me!

I reckon the far elbow of the strand where it turns back into Ballyness Bay, or go very light and walk the entire length of the beach with a bass rod and a light weight rolling around past the surf, or opposite Inishboffin Island.

Baits of Sandeel, Mackeral or Lug should bring fish, including Flatties. I've heard rumours of an angler taking a couple of Anglerfish from the Island.

I'm not much of a shore angler (at all!) but that beach has always intrigued me for it's potential.
