Hi lads has anyone on here had a Smartwave 4200. I am looking at them on line and would like to hear if anyone has had any. Nice boats.

Have had a 3500 while living in Nz. My mate had a 4200. Great little boats, very stable and quiet on the water. They can be a bit heavy as made from PE so make sure it's adequately powered. The PE plastic is just like a kayak so easy to ad and remove hardware and you can just plastic weld away if you need to patch anything up. I would definitely buy another if they were readily available. They should be stored on a skidded trailer not rollers so have a good look underneath for any big indentations from Rollers as it could affect handling.check the transom for stress!

Well I took the plunge and got a new shortwave 3500 and new skid trailer and 15up 4 stroke suzuki. Only got out for 1 quick spin to check trim of engine and her ass was digging in so back home and did research and made some adjustments. Waiting for break in weather to take it out again and hopeing it will plane now
