Myself and Richie
Fished 5pm till 9pm Low water 6:30
Bait rag crab Mac lug
Rigs pully dropper
3hook flapper
Weather dry sunny northly breeze
Fish dabs whiting codling bass


Out for plaice but unfortunately we didn’t manage to catch 1 :cry:
Started off very slow with only 2 dabs ,once it got dark fish started to feed
Water was abit 2 murky after the easterlys we had for the last few days not ideal for plaice ..
last cast Richie got a cracking bass at 48cm
Get back down soon when the water has cleared up . I’ll try to upload the pic of the bass ...
Keep trying for the spotty fellas :lol:

Nice to hear there are Bass about on the East coast.
What type of tides are the best down there for Plaice? Big or small?

Small tides are best pal ,there is a serious rip on the tides on all the Wicklow beaches,
tides yesterday where perfect.

Thanks for the info, I've been reading good reports from that venue, im hoping to plan a trip there towards the end of the month.
