Very good John, I watched all your uploads, the underwater footage is very informative, especially how the Ray, settle on the bait, and how they react when being retrieved. Clap.....Clap.......Clap

Thanks, the first of a new species is always good to get. I got another one, similar size 5 mins later. I was fishing in about 25-30 ft, drifting mackerel strip over sand. Full report available below.

Hi keymcg, how are things? The rod is a Penn TRQ
12/20lb 8ft 6" boat rod. Very good bite detection, nice action and a bit of poke when needed, I love it! Regards, johnwest.
