People:myself,kissmywrasse,marty harrison,pookie,costa,dave
Duration:08.30 - 17.00hrs
Tide:HW 08.00 LW14.00HRS
Weather:NW 18MPH
Bait:Mostly sandeels the odd jelly worm and twin tail
Rigs:Lead heads and spinning sandeels behind 2oz drilled bullets
Results:around 30 pollack to 8lb and a couple of coalies to 1lb
Report:Had arranged to meet pookie and his mates to see if we could get a few fish ,so after arriving a bit later than expected we set up camp in the rocks ,costa had the first couple of fish of 2-3lb then it went pretty quite for a couple of hours ,i then picked up a pollack 3-4lb as the tide slackened shortly followed by 2 good fish hitting the sandeel and taking of into the kelp  .
With not much happening in the pookie camp they decided to try the rocks furher along ,they had no sooner left when davy and marty snuck onto their rock for a safer more comfortable footing , Davy quickly hooked his first fish of the day which turned out to be the biggest we,ve landed so far from here at 8lb ,nice fish and it was only 30 feet from the edge !!
from low water the fishing was pretty steady with marty land fish to 6lb and i only managed a best of 5lb .by this stage the sea was building up pretty nasty with the swell starting to run 10feet up the rocks and conditions were getting nasty so we made the long slog home happy but knackered .
Good day out but will have to try harder to travel light so my back wont be as sore this morn .

i`d just like to take a moment to thank pookie and his mates for moving from the rocks to make it possible for me to catch my personal best shore caught pollack of 8lb   (and another fine pollack of 6lb)
we`ll get up again pookie when the weather is`nt against us and should get more fish.

Was a great day alright and seriously sore this morn after the climbing/walking involved, take note not a mark for the faint hearted or unsure footed!! Some great fish had over the course of things, Davys 8lb`r was a superb bit of angling given the enviroment these fish live in and the conditions we where fishing in.
