Mayo beach

#1 Post by joe the junior »

Fished friday night at a beach mark 10pm-1.30am. weather was favourable and big tides running. first cast produced a small flounder. after this was a small turbot teabag sized. afew casts passed and in came a turbot of 23cm and another flounder. the dogs then appeared. had 8 for the night with a 15cm weever and a coalie inbetween. the weed moved in with the tide and i called it a night. enjoyable nights fishing. lugworm and mack the bait.

Seems like a decent but not very interesting session that we regularly get out west. Do we envy those lads down south and east with all their species!
fair play on the report all the same
