Plaice??

Anyone getting any plaice yet this year? I know its still a bit on the early side, but thinking of trying for one.
I require a tremendous amount of calcium

hi seaniebo....we are startin to get plaice up and down the antrim coast with one or two good one's throwin in for good measures so u shold be gettin them down ur way too

I had a 35cm Plaice at Glenarm on Saturday, the brother had one at Red Bay last week.

from most of the best plaice marks on the east antrim coast a clipped down rig with reasonably long snoods, size 2 - 2/0 hooks normally best bait ragworm tipped with squid strip does the trick
distance fishing can help
Not the BigPhil from Irish Angler mag, I'm the original, i swear!!!!

I got mine on a 2 hook clip down rig with rag worm. It took the top hook which was a 1/0 - swallowed the complete hook, I had to cut the snood to get rid of the fish :? :?
