Ireland's Eye
New to the north Dublin area. I saw some old posts about people shore fishing from Ireland's Eye, I think mainly catching Pollock and macks. Would anyone know if it's still a good mark for lure fishing and is there many areas fishable on foot?

Re: Ireland's Eye
From many years ago, its less successful than you might imagine. It may have recovered but I doubt it owing to the fishing pressures there.
Best place was around the back near the Stack where you picked up ballen and cuckoo wrasse, Pollack and mackerel in season. Coalfish too, but all to no size.
PM me and I'll give you a mark where you can do a lot better from a boat.
