Terrible fishing, even for this time of year!

#1 Post by corbyeire »

well it has to be said Galway Bay is barren and heading out to Conamara doesn't seem to improve the fishing much. Generally the fishing slows down this time of year, but blank after blank has me thinking the cold spell has pushed fish off for good - or have the super trawlers been "sheltering" recently?

How has it been round the country for the rest of ye? - any hope at all

Tough enough getting a trout too this time of year but had this cracker today, 4lb 5oz. :D And it’s tough enough at the best of times tbh but I’d be hard pushed to be persuaded to try for a fish from the sea shore especially at this time of year.
You may take up the freshwater fishing Brian..

Is that a wild fish or stocked?
