Waterford estuary
fished the waterford estuary , trying different spots from Ballyhack up to Bellport in the boat , using frozen crab ,razor, squid black wraps , not a bite - very quiet , not even an eel or flounder ,never mind the cod !!

Re: Waterford estuary
That's a bit of a surprise, remember fishing Cheekpoint and other marks in the past and finding lots of fish, albeit to no size, there.
Maybe try a little further down towards Arthurstown and down to Duncannon, fishing the drop off on the rise or drop of the tide?

Re: Waterford estuary
Yes fished the filling tide . Ive had plenty of cod out of it in previous years from our usual marks , just very unusual not to even have a bite - How further up river are they showing -from the shore ? Seems there is not much cod about at all so far this year, seems the same for youghal/monkstown - Also fished a few reefs of kilmore and there is not much on them too
