Entry is 20 euro plus 5 euro pools
Juniors: 5 euro + 5 euro Pools
Non IFSA members must pay an additional 20 euro to cover a Visitor's Card*
Perpetual Cup and 500 euro for longest Cod.*
Match Prizes.
Pool: Longest Ray, Longest Flat, Longest Round (excluding Cod)
Entries in by 8pm Friday November 17th. Please also let us know if you enter and then have to cancel, as beach has to be pegged in the morning.

If you want to book a room mention that you are fishing the competition.
B+B rates: 50 euro each for two sharing, 75 euro for a single room.
* VISITOR CARDS, (DAY MEMBERSHIP AS IT IS COMMONLY KNOWN)
Visitor Cards are available for un-affiliated / Visiting anglers, the card
is valid for 1 event only and for a maximum of 5 days. The card costs
20Euro. This was confirmed at a recent IFSA meeting.
*Based on 50 Anglers entering.

The Irish Cod Champion for 2017 is Jimmy Kelly of Suir Estuary SAC. 80 anglers fished the competition. A full report will follow later.

The cod numbers caught make for sobering reading. Seems flounder scarce also?

Congrats to the organisers - 80 anglers is a very serious competition.
400 fish is not a bad return and whilst people will naturally be disappointed with the lack of cod, I thought that almost 30 painted ray was impressive. Lovely fish. Occasionally they show up on a few of the beaches here, shame the weather at the weekend is sh***.
Anyhow well done to the organisers. Hope people bought you a few on the night ;0)
