Glenarm Breakwater 05.03.06

#1 Post by glengormley-gavin »

People: Me and the nephew

Duration: 12.30 - 17.00

Tide: HT 14.40

Weather: Bright with the odd shower

Bait: Rag, mack & squid

Rigs: Wishbone, 2 hook clip down, pennel & pollack lures

Results: 1 plaice

Report:
Went to the breakwater on the spare of the moment yesterday, hadn't planned to go out this weekend but the temptation was too much.....

My first cast produced a 35cm plaice - lovely fish - it took ragworm but we had nothing else for the rest of the day.

I spent a long time spinning various lures but with no success.
