Report: Headed down to a pier mark with me da for a quick fishing session. and set up rigs with sandeel and rag at first, within 15 minutes I had a dogfish, and then the same for me da after that. We then both caught decent dabs in quick succession and then I missed 2 fish within 15 minutes of eachother - both falling off the hook within 10m from the pier. It went quiet after that, then a few minutes before we left we got a dog each. It was a beautiful evening, quite calm with a half moon shining into the harbour waters. The annual Perseids meteor shower takes place from around now to the 20th so if you're night fishing from then til now - look up! A nice quick session with a few fish, I was happy enough. All fish returned
