Wilson Flyer or Dory Pilot Flying Bridge

#1 Post by masterkeane »

Hi all

I have a 17ft Dory Pilot basically a wilson Flyer with very slight differences. I'm looking for a split screen windshield for the top of my cuddy . Wilson make them and they're called a flying bridge, but won't Send one over and they have put the price up by 120 pounds in two years also . I will attach 2 pictures of a boat with the fly bridge on top that I am looking for.

If anyone has one or even a bigger cuddy available I would pay a fair price and collect. Or also if anyone that know some who could glass one up for me I would be open to that also .

Cheers John .

Well I'm a carpenter by trade so would have problem making something up in plywood but it's just the fiber glassing I have no experience with. I'm based in dun laoghaire .

finnish the fromt with a small skim of filler and spray it.
if youd of been closer id of helped you ,
if u can make it and drop it down to me id happy glass it and spry it for u no probs

The 1/4 " ply sounds perfect as I want to try and curve it slightly if possible . I'll pop you a pm with my.number mate and if you could gimme a text or a buzz for a chat, if you where up for taking it on to glass it and paint that might work for me I could make it up handy and drop it down No prob .
