Dungarvan - Waterford

Hi All,

Looking at getting a charter out of Dungarvan in August reef fishing and was looking for a few pointers on what gear to bring and what to expect.

any advice would be appreciated.
Wish list for 2015: sword tail, black Molly, horny cobbler

baited feathers and a few shads/rubber eels for pollack cant go wrong keep it simple

Headed out from Dungarvan yesterday down torwards the copper coast looking for rough ground.

First we stopped between the "black Rock" and Ballinacorty to pick up some mackeral for bait.

When we got to where we know there would be rough ground we dropped baited feathers and picked up a mix of cod ling and pollock

Codling, Whiting

2017 Species:
Mackerel, Dog Fish, Whiting, 3 bearded rockling

2016 Species:
Pouting, Cod, Coalfish, LSD, macks, pollock, dogfish, Bass, Eel, Garfish, Ling, conger, yellow fin tuna, Skipjack Tuna, parrot fish, Trigger fish, Scad, Conger, whiting

2015 species:
Codling, sea bass, mack's, flounder, Dab, three bearded rockling, coalfish, dog fish, bull huss, ballen wrasse, Pollock, European eel, cuckoo wrasse, ling, conger,scorpion fish, cod, pouting, blue shark, whiting
