Same old subjective story, just look at the size of the "Cod", they're not cod they are codling, from the size I would judge to be about 4 years old max, juniors who are just becoming sexually mature. What future does the stock have if this element of the stock is exploited.

The same is happening in the Celtic Sea, the same happened on the Grand Banks. As Ed Fahy would say "Eaten Fish Soon Forgotten". We can justify a decision everytime by using subjective arguments such as there are lots of "cod" about. However if they are four years old it is like asking a gang of thirteen year olds to maintain the human race, would we?
