People:Myself and a Pal
Duration:3.30 - 7.30pm
Tide: 8.00 pm FT
Weather: Light north easterly, dry.
Bait: Crab, lug, razor and mackeral
Rigs: 2up 2down, pennel, 3 hook paternosters (size2/0, 1/0,& 1)
Results: 2 tiny coalies at the onset of darkness. Things ooked good despite the wind direction, but overall its was very disapointing. We fished the middle of the beach but maybe should have moved closer to the rocks. I think if we started fishing at the time we had to leave it may have been much better, ie darkness and a dropping tide. Anyway good to get out on a beach again, if I wanted to catch fish I would have gone to Youghal, wouldn't I!

Youghal
Well your virtually always guaranteed something in Youghal, but the size can be small. I just needed a change and hit the beach, but Youghal was fishing well but I believe most of the decent coddling are gone and the small coalies have moved in. The flounder action should pick up in Youghal in late March.
