Report: This was an eventful trip down with my engine seizing just outside Cork City. RIP Mr Octavia. Thanks to everyone who unloaded all the gear etc from my car and managed to get it back to Dublin for me. I had planned on staying with Mark B in Whitegate but I had to triple out with two of the guys in Clonakilty. Unfortunately this meant that Mark B could not fish with us.
This was an enjoyable session after all the dram with me managing to get into some flounder and also a stray turbot. Jp was the deserved winner with Thin Lipped, Thick Lipped and Golden Grey Mullet as well as some flounder. I'd like to get back down again and try for some Gilt Heads. Maybe next time.
Many thanks to Henry's Tackle Shop for sponsoring the club

I've just realised this report refers to August, I thought my computer was slow! Nice report (apart from the car problem), makes me think I'll give that spot a go next summer when I'm down that way on holiday. Would the maddies be the best bait?

Was car hunting and then went on holidays for 2 weeks so I never got around to doing a report.
