Hi,Any ideas of where to get bait near lisdoovarna/Fanore beach ,anywhere near for pumping lug
And a safe rock mark if possible

there s a post office witch is a tackle shop and normal shop in fanore and there mackreal to be got on the flats past blackhead on the left as u head up along the flats are very safe to fish from

Tons of safe rock marks along ballyreen, all the way up to black head.
See a recent post on marks around doolin, at the back of the camp site also... and some nice rock marks just south of Fanore beach.

Nearest place to get lug would probably be Liscannor, heading east towards the river from the pier however the bed there was seriously damaged by renovation on the pier a few years back, so I can't vouch for its condition now. On the other direction, you would probably have to try the creeks and pier around Ballyvaughan, a long distance in either direction. Buy some black lug would be the best option.
