Fished kilmore most of last week well I say fish more like gardening but I did manage two good days before the weed really took hold..

First day I managed to bag 4 bass the best one just short of 5lb and some nice flounder....

Second day 7 bass and a weever lol...again the best was just short of 5lb..all the fish were returned..

After this the fishing was imposssble due to the amount of weed..although I did get out plugging in one of the estuaries and had a few sea trout no great size the best being 2lb but good fun....

Had a good luck around and found some great venues that I will be back over next year to have a go on..especially cullinstown now that did look good aswell as the point at rosslare..

Also the bait at the tackle shop down in rosslare is top notch the rag and crab were perfect and a top bloke aswell...thanks to all the lads on here who gave me the info on marks etc much appreciated...

Fair play on the base that beach has always been good to me with bass

All over low water in the daytime.....best bait was fresh lugg the flounders took the rag....my cousin whent and fished the night tide with his mate and they had 7 bass and a few flounders.


Had a look Saturday morning before I left and the weed was a lot better and perfect conditions sods law lol
