I Was in mulrany this morning to dig Lugworm for a trip on Tuesday, when my fork broke after onlying collect a few worms. Well drunk off. Instead I collected a few limpets and tried them off the pier as I had heard it holds a few wrasse close in. No bites came to the limpets. I decided to try the few worms I had dug and they accounted for a tiny wrasse and a lovely sea scorpion.. Fished this mark last week at high tide. Lots of dogs in doubles and trebles on fresh mackerel . Any amount of them here at high tide!
Target for 2017: Tope, Bass, Specimen shore pollack, Specimen Sea trout, Turbot over 30cm, common skate
Nice to see the scorpion . That place has never came back from the big storms. They have it fished to death out side the pier from the boats. Another mark emptied.
