Grand afternoon, decided to hit my favorite mark. Started off as usual first 45 mins nothing then the action started! The usual tap tap and heavy pull, straight into first ray then snap! Using lighter line on my spool for clean beaches , quick change to heavier line and cast out .then other rod went , got this one and afew more followed. 7 in total wingspan sizes 54cm ,52cm 51cm 46cm 45cm 42cm and 41cm happy enough!

Solid session, 54 is a good lump. When do they normally stick around to over there? Last year, same as this, they were thick in June but disappeared almost in a flash in mid / late - July after a big storm up here. Maybe they came back but I never checked as had a good run at them already by then.
