A lazy day today so took the grandson to the pier at Kells bay for his first shore session. I did have him out on a few casting lessons and he was managing about 20/30 yds. Looking forward to teaching him how to dig bait
A big thank you to Dan at The Halfway http://www.tackledirectireland.ie/ for a great deal for the lads rod and reel
It was a good day for fishing out the back of the jeep. His first cast and he ends up with a doubler a flounder an a dab. Two fish and he's telling ME how to do it.
Pupil beating the teacher is not the way it's meant to go. I'm writing it off as beginners luck
