time 4-5pm

people. me +2

bait- rag,mack,squid,sandeel,mussel+ spinners and lures

results- 1 edible crab that was a good size at least 7" across its back deffo worth eating but we returned it

after a failed search for "the slate" at ballyhornan (think i know where it is now though :) ), and a failed attempt to fish Ardglass harbour due to there being no water in it, we decided to head across to portaferry.

first cast i got snagged and lost the lot.

setup again, got a bite, hit it and snagged again :(

third and final cast reel birds nested and line snapped so i retired.

the crab came to my mate who had cast out about 20yds and just left it there for 10mins while he set up a spinning rod, took mackrel

ill get a pic on later
