Location: East Cork
Tackle: SKB Sea Fury #8 and floating line.
Fly: Chartreuse Crazy Charlie
Tide: High water @09:30
First time out with new rod and gear. Got some great advice from Rockhunter on a mark.
Got there about 7am and gave it a go. Not had much success with Bass in the past on the fly but that changed today.
A few casts in and I caught and landed my first SWFF Bass. The fish gave a great scrap but was released quickly after a quick photo.

Thanks all. Bug has def. bitten. Must tie up a few flies and hopefully get out again soon. Cant wait for the Bass and Mullet to start moving into the Estuary here.

Brilliant. If you have got the bug - the first of many.
