Salmon farm debate April 2nd

#1 Post by corbyeire »

A debate about the salmon cages is due in Fanore on the 2nd of April. Representatives of the islands and BIM are due to be present.

From

A public meeting about the Galway Bay Salmon Farm is being held on Thursday 2nd April 8pm in O Donoghues Pub in Fanore hosted by Sinn Fein. Fanore is the next beach to the proposed Salmon Farm (other than Inis Oirr) This is a very serious situation and has the potential to destroy Galway Bay. People are under the impression that because the opposition has been huge to this Salmon Farm that Simon Coveney couldn't possibly grant it. This is not true - there's every indication that he may very well go against the wishes of the people, It is important that you attend! NO SALMON FARMS IN GALWAY BAY
