I got word earlier today of the sad news that Terry Carroll (Zziplex.Ltd & UKSF chairman) has passed away after a short battle with cancer. RIP

"I have been contacted by Barbara and would like to issue a statement on her behalf.
Sadly Terry died peacefully at home this morning after a short but fierce battle with cancer .
It was Terry's greatest wish that the company we started together should continue and he made it his final project that Zziplex would continue after his death .
Lee Isham who has been Terry's right hand man for many years will continue his mentors work .
Details of the funeral will be made available at a later date.

Very sad news indeed. Hard to believe the legend has passed.

Sad.. the end of an era, Terry was an accomplished matchman and innovative rod builder, along with Neil McKellow, he,broke new ground for anglers and tourneys alike. Many rods that he designed and built are classics, such as the 2500, GS match, and primo, profile etc, we wont see his like again.Rest easy Terry.
