Tide:
2 up and 2 down
Weather:
calm and cold
Bait:
mac and sandeel
Rigs:
conger traces and 1 up 1 drop down
Results:
1 conger and lost count of whiting

Report:

fishing was slow til the tide started to drop..Mark Rainey caught his first conger even if was only a strap of 5lb 8oz and it fell to a cocktail of mac and whiting....whiting showed up in force as soon as darkness fell and they all fell to mac and sandeel....it was better than catchin nothin

hi jonny where did u pull the conger from heard a few coming of breakwater but bigger ones were smugglers used to be at the old iron slip.... rab
if it cant get its jaws round a 1/0 its not worth catching [ mullet excluded ]

they same to be cosentrating at the corner before the old watch tower but there is some good eels at smugglers it just getting them up over the wall as for the breakwater i haven't seen any congers from it yet just some nice cod and massive rockling
