Flounder Hunt: S.Wexford, Louth, Meath & Antrim

#1 Post by chuckaroo »

the last few weeks I have travelled the country somewhat (east coast from south to north) in the search of some decent flounder
I'm blaming the weather and/or poor sea conditions for poor results!...... basically, a lot of time and effort put in for little reward
so anyway, it was nice to be out and at it i suppose and today I ended up being most successful on my home turf of Red Bay
nothing big but a few fish nonetheless...
a few pics FWIW. enjoy

Serious effort put in there Charlie. When you do nab that specimen it'll be very well deserved! Thanks for posting.
It ain't easy but it sure is simple!

You might at least have got the fish in focus instead of me Charlie! That monster in pic. 4 is actually yours; mine was nowhere near that size, in fact I think it is my smallest ever flounder. Here's a couple more pics of Saturday.
