People:me, kstaff and pob

Duration:9pm to 12

Tide:low at 12

Weather:cold and calm

Bait:bit of everything

Rigs:2 and 3 hook flappers

Results:heap of small fish (cod, coalies and rockling) 1 nice codling of about 3lb falling to pob on the last chuck.

Hello there coaster thinking of heading down that way meself in the next couple of days. I hear that the best bass fishing is to be had close to the carpark behind the prom and for the cod you need to walk well down the beach, a mile or so. Is this true in your experience of the place or can the fish just turn up anywhere?
