Sligo Angler

Hi all,
new on here, my names ben and I am living in Sligo for the past 5 years. I am mainly a coarse angler but have dabbled with sea fishing on and off over the years, and more so when i lived in dublin. I am looking to do a bit more sea fishing again as my time out fishing is restricted at the moment with a young family and I suppose I am wasting what I have on my doorstep and that's lots of sea lol...
I have been doing a bit of mullet fishing this year with mixed results but been getting fish to 4/5lb.
Looking at expanding my sea fishing here in sligo and my main target would be to get a shore caught tope.
Any help or tips from any anglers up here in the north west would be warmly welcomed...
