Fished a couple of sessions on San Juan pier while on holiday.
Had a few mini species on the float, Ornate Wrasse, Damsel fish and Sea Scorpion.
Fishing on the bottom using Mackerel for bait I had one Sting Ray of about 6 lb and lost another that headed out to sea like a train; am guessing it was well over 50lb.
Also saw some nice Wahoo in the 2 kilo bracket landed by locals; fecked if i know what they were using for bait; some kind of home made mishmash.
Nice to land my first Sting Ray.
