spinng rod for bass?

can any one suggest an ideal cheap bass rod for lures 10 to 30 grams ?
ill be spinning from rocks and the od kayack and boat outing !! i currently have a shimano exage in 7 ft but fint it short and light? any help would be great:)

Shimano Vengance Sea Bass AX 240MH, 8ft rod 10 to 50g rated and has plenty of back bone for fighting fish. €40

i had that exact rod paired wit a catana reel ..tip broke anout a foot down .. so i went and purchased a sure catch power braid salty spin in 8 foot

I have had the 7 and the 8ft version of the Vengance, the tip of the 8ft broke on me too, but only when my buddy stood on it with his size nines.

I have not used the 8' Surecatch... I love my 7'. What's it like?
