Results:Got out for a few hours at last not much doing plenty if weed and packed with anglers and weddings too. had a couple of small pollack a dab and a small wrasse between us

we were in newcastle with small fish + undesirables overnight..2 smoothhounds under six plus grief from four ignorant prats.. dont recommend this beach for families

I have fished Newcastle quite a lot and never had any problems with undesirables.
That wee fish looks like a flounder all right and there are plenty to be had at that spot along with Dab and the ever present doggies. Did catch a small Tope last week from this spot and A small/medium sized plaice too
