wrasse fishing near Galway

#1 Post by mairerua »

Hi
I am looking for some information on wrasse fishing near Galway. I am doing a project and I would hope to go wrasse fishing in the next few weeks or at least optain a sample of a wrasse. It anybody knows of anybody that does so could they please contact me. The prject is on Ballach Bui and again if anybody has any information on this I would also be grateful if they contacted me. I have a Marine backround and have spent time on boats so I have some exoerince on open water.
Thanks

What species of wrasse are you looking for? Majority can be caught from the shore with a children's rod.
