Cork Waterford Fishing

is there much been caught down around the Cork, Waterford area. Thinking about heading down that way in the next few weeks.. Maybe..

Didn't see any reports of late.

Hello there john. Have heard reports of good Cod in the river up beyond Waterford city but that was about two weeks ago so im afraid I dont have anything more recent. Some of the other users from the area such as kstaff or coaster if you pm them may be able to tell you more. We're fishing our first SAISAC competition in youghal Sunday week so the reports from that should give you an idea how its fishing there, if its not too late. HTH

well john, the river is gone a bit slack at the moment. the beaches are a bit hit and miss although im still hearin of the odd nice size cod and a couple of bass bein caught. i seem to hear about more fish than i catch

Fishing seems to be quite slack to the moment but cant talk from experience as iv not been out much the last 2 weeks.
The couple of short sessions that i did have resulted in plenty of schoolie bass on one night and one 5 lb bass on the second night but it has to be said that my bait was poor by any standards.
Hoping to give it a good bash on Saturday and will post here to let you know.
