Report:went down at about 6:30 with the tide at its lowest.set up under the lighthouse, the first cast was only in the water about two minutes when a nice knock turned out to be a fine seabass of about 4lbs,lost him on the rocks though ,would of liked a pic before letting him go...same thing happened 20 mins later with what i think was a ray about two pounds. nothing happened until about 8 when i got a nice strike and run this time the guy got away clean before i could see him-another bass?. the only fish i managed to land was a medium doggie that was hooked quite deep-the sod puked all over me when i removed the hook. as for the brother-well all he seemed to do was lose as much of my gear as he could, lol. i'll be back!, three or four polish lads didnt have much luck beside me,but on the walk back to the car there were a few guys at the half-moon with a fine smooth hound.....

i only started fishing there recently, being more of a beach man meslef, wanted to climb down the rocks to make it easier but the rocks there are huge,i recon if you fell you'd be f*ckd! any tips beyond the obvious on how to land fish over rocks?. by the way,the bass didn't de-hook,the line got caught between two rocks and got cut.

I use about 15-20 yards of 50lb leader to make sure ya can pull out of the snags and lift a fish clear of the rocks without fear of the line snapping.
