#1 Post by dave18 »

People:me

Duration:6:30-11

Tide:

Weather:over cast

Bait:sandeel and crab

Rigs: pullys

Results:2 whitening and one LSD

Report: arrived at poolbeg bout 6 set off down the pier witch was much longer than I taught :( set up at half moon were their was two forgin guys fishing. Set up and lumped the rods out rods were nibbling away that was obviously crab then the rachet tore off on the rod with sandeel on struck in to nothing tho. Rods continued tapping away but still Notting bout hour left I hooked a pin whitening and luged him out as bait then rod rattled reeled into a LSD saved the blank I suppose :). Plenty of forgin guys catching whitening and killing everyone of them two..

The walk back to the car nearly killed me felt much shorter walkin down..

Thats what I call the walk of shame...lol Nothing worse than making that walk in the hope of a hound!....

Its worth trying just to get out of the house.

Yea and about 30 lads, it seems to be getting very busy down there.... Time to find a quieter spot me thinks.

We tryed on the 25th to but got bored at high tide because we hadent even got a single bite, so decided to pack it in and head home. BUT on the way we went to a little hidden mark on the far side of the bay to fish an hour of the drop for some flounder.....

First cast 3 of use landed nice hounds at the same time.... 1 hour we had 7 hounds and a doggy.
