Quick report guys, we made or way down to mayo only to find that there would be a south western wind and a lot of weed at or chosen marks so we decided to head north to Donegal first, fishing was very hard the hardest ive had it I think, out of 4 days fishing and 3 anglers there was 8 fish caught, the best was a 3,1/2 lb seatrout on the last day. which brightened the mood. there was no night tides which didn't help I think, or it was just a run of bad luck. I don't know. but have to say I was rather pleased with the seatrout.
is it normal to catch a Codling in the middle of may from the shore??? just never have caught 1 this time of year b4. will foul hooked 1.

hard fishing but it wasn't all bad. it was good craic and really just being out fishing for a couple of days was very enjoyable. hope we have better luck next time!!!
