#1 Post by Richie07 »

People:Myself and me bird

Duration:12.00 to 18.00

Tide:4 up 2 down

Weather:Sunny,hardly any breeze,calm sea

Bait:Lug,Mackerel,Sandeel,Squid.

Rigs:Simple 2 hook paternoster

Results:Poor,2 Coalfish @1lb each,2 Whiting and a small Codling.

Report:For such a calm day there was an awful lot of weed around, must've been due to the stormy conditions Thursday/Friday,lost alot of gear  ,the best part of the day was a flock of geese about 200 going around, very impressive under the red skies at dusk.

Out in Malahide over the weekend, massive flock of those Brent Geese passed by  . I mean they covered a large portion of the sky, incredible to see.
