Location: cushendun beach
Date:16-5-2014
Tide:over high water
Weather:dry cool, light breeze, in general very nice
Baits: frozen lug, peeler ,mackerel and rag
Rigs: 2 hook loop size 1 and 3/0 paternoster
Species caught: 34, 23, and 19cm flounder and 4 doggies
Report:
Well don't be shocked lads, it's turn I am posting a report
Anyway the plan was to fish from 8pm but with the nw200 it was 8.45pm before I finally wet a line. Fishing was slow until dark but at least I got to bask in the greatness that is fedstar, was great to meet the man himself and we had a few great chats about cars, fishing, casting Mr Magee in a thong
Anyway after a coffee and a chat I got my first fish a 34cm flounder, this wad followed by a double soot of smaller fish. It was slow again after this but another wee busy time saw 3 doggies come in, one of which came in at 3am(last cast was 2am ) finally packed up at 4 am.
All in all a great nights craic, good company and after 6 months it was bloody great to be fishing again. Roll on the next trip
