simple 2 or 3 hook flapper rigs baited with rag tipped with mackeral, with bright beads on the snoods
if it cant get its jaws round a 1/0 its not worth catching [ mullet excluded ]

Or, if you want to try something different, why not try flounder-trampling?

You don't even need a rod. Or shoes.

And it gives the weevers a chance to get even.
