Duration:9pm-2.30am

Tide:rising

Weather:great slight wind from east

Bait:fresh and frozen crab

Rigs:pen/pully

Results:myself 10 hounds 3 dogs 1 whiting jimmy 7 hounds 7 dogs

Report:this was a second choice session as i had planned on a bass hunt on the saturday but having to go to a bbq i had to make another plans
arrived at the mark about 8.50 and had lines in for 9 and from the first cast the rods kept going all night i was first in with a pin whiting and soon after jimmys rod kept noding away slowly and then took a hard bang and he lifted into the first hound of the night but lost it after a couple of secs this happened 4 times twice each both losing fish right at our feet then the moment came james landed a hound and this was the way of things to come for the next few hours they started small at first about dog size but as the tide got higher the bigger ones came in and we had a good few in the 4-6 lb bracket biggest 6lb 2oz there were also a lot of dogs around at times some big ones just shy of 3lb high water came and with the fish still biting we called it a night happy with what had happened maybe if things had gone to plan i might have blanked on the bass front lets hope they stay around for awhile
