Report:was back home in waterford so went fishing on a local beach the winds were south in morning but went to the south east in the night was a nice surf.baited up and casted out after 2nd cast got nice little codling they keep coming for the next hour and half till low tide then things slowed down till about an hour after the turn was just about to pack up and got a nice knock on the rod pulled in to it strait away knew it was a bass gave a good fight all the way in nice 5/6 pound bass first one for 2014 so hopefully they will be more the codling came back on the feed fished for another 2 hours or so till things slowed down as the mark doesn't usually fish well at the middle of the tide and things slowed down I was happy with what I had so packed up was happy with the night hopefully we have a good summer and have more bass

5-6lb Bass is a nice fish. Great session, well done Chris. Like you said hopefully more Bass to come!
